If you use Alexa, you can get a jump on Prime Day deals… and get $10 off if it’s your first time voice shopping.

Congratulations to Paul McCartney, who after almost 50 years is the proud new owner of The Beatles catalog of music.

Have you ever wondered why there’s no grape ice cream? Ben and Jerry’s head of PR explains why. The short answer is… water content. Plus, no one would buy it.

A Seattle man says by the time he read the wordy sign in a school zone it was too late to slow down… and a judge just agreed with him and threw out his speeding ticket.
What do you think? Is this sign “too wordy”?

I want this right now!!!! Ice cream donuts!

Have a great weekend, Wilde Ones!!  Jennifer

The Royal Canadian Mint has just put out what is believed to be the first glow-in-the-dark coin ever minted. The two-dollar coin was created to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada’s confederation and it features two people paddling a canoe beneath the northern lights. And the aurora borealis part of the design is made with luminescent ink so it glows in the dark! How cool!

New evidence is leading researchers to believe that Amelia Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan, did not die in a plane crash but instead died in the custody of the Japanese after being captured. A newly discovered photo, along with some other evidence, is being featured in a new special called “Amelia Earhart: The Lost Evidence” which airs Sunday on the History Channel.

It’s going to be one of the worst tick seasons ever… so make sure you check your dogs every day (cats too, if they spend time outdoors) and if you notice signs of lethargy, not eating well or the start of paralysis, it could be the result of a tick bite – get them to the vet right away.

This is awesome. When her friend posted a throwback photo of her very 90’s wedding and apologized to the bridesmaids for the ugly dresses, Heidi Mann decided to prove that she was still getting good use out of her dress. She had her kids take photos of her wearing it doing all kinds of everyday thing… like watering the flowers, doing laundry and chilling on the couch with her tablet.

"The way Tammi was so apologetic made me think about how almost every person whose wedding I’d been in hoped I’d be able to wear their dress again," Mann told BuzzFeed News. "I don’t blame them…I did the same thing to my bridesmaids. I was certain I was getting them dresses that they would be able to wear again. I wasn’t."

The latest instagram trend is “butts against landscapes“… Cheeky Exploits started the trend… just go to a beautiful setting and then drop your drawers and have a friend take a picture. I’m usually out with the dog and he’s horrible with a camera. I think I’m gonna need a selfie stick and a rear view mirror to take these…  😉

Hope your Thursday is fab! Jennifer

So sad to see that Prince’s former drummer (of 12 years) John Blackwell died. He was diagnosed with brain tumors while on tour in Japan and had gone through more than one operation for them. On the GoFundMe page that was set up for his medical expenses, his wife posted an update less than a week ago about him moving to a rehab facility to start down a long road of recovery, so this is obviously not the outcome they were expecting. If you’d like to donate to his family, here’s the link.

This couple is having a hard time finding a wedding photographer who wants to shoot the whole day … and night. They want a consummation photographer.

The outcry from Sense 8 fans over it’s cancellation has prompted creators to say goodbye with one last two hour special next year.

A dog wandered onto the stage at music festival in Turkey and settled into the best seat in the house to a round of applause. Awww…

Venus Williams is getting sued by the wife of a man who died after a car accident that his family says Venus caused. Such a horrible, sad tragedy.

Welcome back to a normal routine… happy Wednesday! Jennifer

They’ve been around for years but I’ve never had a kiwi berry. Have you? They’re becoming the hot new superfood in the US.

What if, instead of honking at people, you could quack at them instead? Researchers say a quack is the best sound to get people’s attention in a less stressful way. Can you imagine how this would change the sound of New York City?

If you received a box of Chanel purses and other merchandise worth $40,000, what would you do with it? Most people wouldn’t do what this guy did. Matt Hwang returned it.

Some new emojis are coming! We’ll see these later on this year…

There’s a total solar eclipse coming up on August 21st and it’ll be seen coast to coast for the first time in close to 100 years. So hotels in the “path of totality” are filling up with people hoping to get the best view. But the very best view of the eclipse may be from the air… aboard an Alaska Airlines flight. The airline is planning a viewing party 35,000 feet in the air for a select group astronomers and guests but they’ll give away two seats as part of a marketing promotion beginning July 21 on the company’s social media outlets. Here’s one way to ruin a vacation. A tourist in China was happily trying on bracelets in a gem shop and asked how much the bangle she was wearing cost. When she heard it was worth the equivalent of $44,000, she took it off fast! And as she did… she dropped it on the floor, breaking it into two pieces. Yikes… One minute you feel happy and pretty… the next, you’re in debt for 44 grand! No wonder she passed out.

We’re almost to Friday!! Hope today is great!  Jennifer
